The multi-platinum entertainer Tim ‘Timomatic’ Omaji has conquered many milestones through his multi-faced career. From dancer to recording artist to attaining a Logie nomination as a TV personality, Tim has become a staple in the Australian entertainment industry. However it’s clear that his new chapter, which sees Tim step into his true role of singer, songwriter, producer and entrepreneur, is where he is most comfortable.
Captivating audiences on the hit TV Show So You Think You Can Dance, Tim quickly became a household name and secured a leading role in the Gordon Frost Organisation’s Fame The Musical. It was due to a serious injury that he channeled his passion to create music, which led to Tim becoming a top three finalist on Australia’s Got Talent and releasing his 4 x platinum, ARIA nominated single Set It Off, which peaked at #2 on the ARIA music charts. His live shows would attract special guest invitations to perform alongside global acts such as Nicki Minaj, Pitbull, Jesse J, Flo Rida, Salt N Pepa, Jason Derulo and David Guetta. Within the same year Tim launched his self-titled album taking the #3 spot on the ARIA Charts featuring hits If Looks Could Kill and Can You Feel It. Tim was a featured performer at one of Australia’s biggest sporting events, State Of Origin (2013). This led to international performances such as Miss Universe Beauty Pageant, broadcast to millions globally, and Mexico’s biggest radio concert El Evento 40 with a live audience of over 100,000 people.
Tim was cast as the lead role of Benny in the sold out 2018 Hayes Theatre Co production In The Heights, and most recently played the lead role of Sam in Madiba the Musical which garnered him praise by many theatre critics. Mash Up was Tim’s latest anticipated music offering and was premiered by live performance on the brand new Channel 7 show Dance Boss, hosted by Danni Minogue. Tim was also part of the show’s judging panel alongside Adam Garcia and Sharni Vinson.
